Our next scenery Kickstarter features city buildings and you help the city come alive! Winners receive cash prizes and will see their work on the sides of Monster Fight Club's new Metropolis buildings.
In partnership with special judge Jon Schindehette from ArtOrder, we're looking for artists to create original street art that can be added to our upcoming buildings' walls.
Download the building templates and let your imagination run wild! These new buildings work with a variety of different settings and time periods – everything's fair game: World War Two, modern downtown, or dark, grim, cyber-futures.
Don't wait - contest ends May 16th!
Use the buttons below to a .zip file with the templates you'll need:
There are three levels of prize:
$150 Monster 1st Place Prize: Chosen by the staff of Monster Fight Club and Jon Schindehette, at Art Order
$100 Monster 2nd Place Prize: Chosen by the staff of Monster Fight Club and Jon Schindehette, at Art Order
$100 Fan Favorite Prize: Given to the entry which receives the most “Hearts” in Monster Fight Club’s Contest Gallery, on monsterfightclub.com
$50 Lil’ Monster Prize: Chosen by the staff of Monster Fight Club, awarded to any submission included in the Monster Scenery: Metropolis range, which doesn’t win a larger prize.
All submissions must be 300 ppi .psd or .ai files, with the submission on a separate layer(s), using the provided template. Traditional methods are an option, but need to be submitted digitally. Art does not have to fill the whole template, but larger pieces may be more likely to be chosen than small tags.
There is no limit on the number of submissions you can enter, but please don’t submit multiple variants of the same piece. We’ll review all submissions, but we retain the right to not add any given submission to the contest gallery, for any reason. Email your submission to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name as you’d like it credited and the best way to contact you if you win.
Winning submissions will be selected by the staff of Monster Fight Club and Jon Schindehette, of Art Order. Jon Schindehette has many years of experience as an art director, including working with Wizards of the Coast, ThinkGeek, Infected by Art, and Art Order.
You can view the current submissions here: https://www.monsterfightclub.com/streetartcontest It may take 1-2 business days for submissions to be added to the gallery.
You retain the copyright to all submitted images. By submitting to the contest, you are agreeing to grant Monster Fight Club the right to use your work in our online promotion. Prize Winners agree to have their submitted image included in the Monster Scenery: Metropolis range, granting Monster Fight Club the non-exclusive rights to print your work in exchange for the compensation outlined in the “Prizes” section, above. Credit will be given in all promotion images.
Monster Fight Club Employees are not eligible to enter. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
All submissions must be original work and may not include copyrighted material. This includes interpretations, reworkings, or re-imaginings of recognizable, copyrighted characters or trademarks.
